Who we are

Showdock is a show management tool for music promoters and organisers. It is operated by Daniel Tait ("we", "us"). If you have questions about this policy, email contact@showdock.app.

What data we collect

• Waitlist data — your email address if you sign up for early access before creating an account.
• Account data — your name and email address when you create an account.
• Show data — show details, venue information, schedules, and contacts that you enter.
• Advance information — artist details submitted via advance request forms, including dietary requirements, hospitality notes, guest lists, and technical rider information.
• Usage data — standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and debugging. We do not use analytics cookies or third-party tracking.

Why we collect it

• To provide the service — storing and displaying your show information.
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• To allow artists to submit advance information via the links you share with them.

The legal basis for processing is legitimate interests (providing a service you have chosen to use) and, where required, consent.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing. Data may be shared with:

• Hosting providers — the servers that run Showdock (currently self-hosted, UK/EU).
• Resend — we use Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., USA) to send and manage email communications. Email addresses may be transferred to Resend and processed in the United States under UK Standard Contractual Clauses. Resend acts as a data processor on our behalf.
• People you share links with — public show sheets and artist sheets are accessible to anyone with the link. You control who receives those links.

Cookies

Showdock uses a single session cookie to keep you signed in. This is strictly necessary for the service to work and does not require your consent. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or any third-party tracking cookies.

How long we keep your data

Your account data and show data are retained for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Object to processing or request restriction of processing.
• Lodge a complaint with the ICO (UK supervisory authority).

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Showdock after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
